LearnKube vs Pluralsight: turn individual practice into a shared diagnosis

Engineers can complete useful cloud labs and still disagree about which evidence identifies a workload failure. A team on-call responsibility needs a common method as well as individual study.

Choose LearnKube when the team needs to build operating skills together. Our private program adds a shared technical path and live investigation to the individual study offered by Pluralsight's Kubernetes library.

Bring your questions to an instructor who can examine your reasoning, change the exercise, and help the whole team understand the result.

Hands-on learning and the skills engineers take back to work.

  • Hands-on learning
Of instruction time spent on labs and challenges.
  • Troubleshooting confidence
Of respondents report greater confidence diagnosing Kubernetes problems.
  • Relevant to your work
Of respondents say the course addressed their engineering responsibilities.
  • Skills put into practice
Of respondents applied their new skills at work within 90 days.

Pluralsight's Kubernetes library provides recorded courses and individual lab practice. A private LearnKube course gives your team a common technical path and a live instructor throughout the sessions.

LearnKube can build a private course around a shared task, such as investigating an unavailable application or reviewing a release. We connect the architecture, workload, traffic, state, and access mechanisms needed for that task.

That plan gives the group a common basis for deciding what to inspect and which role can act. It also lets us shorten familiar subjects and spend more time on the interactions that engineers still find difficult.

An independent lab can show whether you completed a task. A live instructor can ask why your correction addresses the cause and explore what changes when another condition fails.

In our live private course, the group diagnoses the problem while the evidence is visible. Engineers propose causes, explain the observations behind them, and investigate disagreements with the instructor.

The instructor can then change the condition. Engineers must identify the mechanism again before they apply the previous correction. That interaction matters when the group must support workloads together after the course.

Tell us which courses and labs engineers use, their responsibilities, and the failures they need to understand. We can agree on a private onsite or live-remote program with representative practical work.

We can shorten material the engineers already understand and spend more time on their difficult questions. The course gives the team time to practice, discuss different explanations, and investigate the evidence together.

LearnKube provides course-duration cloud workstations, retained course material and slide decks, and private Slack access for later questions.

  • Connect individual study to shared release or operating responsibilities.
  • Agree on the evidence behind a diagnosis and recovery decision.
  • Practice how application and platform observations fit together.

We can build the course around a common technical task. We do not assume that independently completed modules produce the same interpretation across the group.

A proposed exercise compares an application with incorrect startup configuration, a running application that fails readiness, and ready Pods not selected by the Service.

Participants inspect process evidence, health checks, labels, selectors, and endpoint readiness. They explain which layer identifies each cause and which change addresses it. Then the instructor changes one failure condition so the group must reassess its diagnosis from the new observations.

LearnKube delivered Kubernetes training for Kraken's platform engineers. The course connected containers, deployments, architecture, networking, security, and state, with practical work alongside the explanations.

Tomasz, a Platform Engineer at Kraken, described what he liked most:

The completeness of examples and being able to explore some of the topics a bit better

— Tomasz, Platform Engineer at Kraken.

That is the learning opportunity a private course adds: engineers can explore the example with an instructor and colleagues while the behavior is still in front of them.

Our published format is 60% hands-on labs and challenges. Engineers investigate Kubernetes behavior, explain their observations, and ask the instructor questions as they work through the selected modules.

Yes. Share the application and platform responsibilities and the failures that create uncertainty. We can select workload, traffic, state, resource, and access mechanisms for representative investigations.

No. Tell us their experience and preparation. We can agree on a shared foundation and concentrate on the technical gaps that matter to the group.

Tell us which workloads engineers support, what they already studied, and where diagnosis still depends on conflicting assumptions. We can propose live instruction and practical work around that responsibility.
